VI XXVI MMXVI

delicious white heat settling into scorched sidewalks bleached by the light
our bones bare — ease sinks impressions into our skin, fingertips pressing into quicksand

cherry flavor smiles slow rolls of tongues surreal fleeting speeches we scream in delight

full of our telltale sounds seeking souls lost in sunflowers — suburbia

the slivers of sun sit heavy on our chests decorated with drops drifting south

our Forever is composed neatly of our Nows safe in our Paradiso
